These positions are filled by three (3) candidates chosen in the Election. Depending on which seats become available for a given year, Board Member seat distribution are as follows: <strong>one<\/strong> <strong>(1)<\/strong> seat for <u>small business<\/u> and <strong>two (2)<\/strong> seats for <u>large businesses<\/u>, <strong>OR<\/strong> <strong>two<\/strong> <strong>(2)<\/strong> seats for <u>small businesses<\/u> and <strong>one (1)<\/strong> seat for a <u>large business<\/u>.<\/p><p>Please note that the abovementioned seats <strong>do not<\/strong> include the positions of the <strong>Executive Board<\/strong> (i.e. The President, Vice-President &amp; Treasurer). All other voters are voters for <strong>Small Businesses<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Entitled to vote are:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Maarten Residents (those registered with the Registry Office).<\/li><li>Of Dutch Citizenship\/Nationality.<\/li><li>Those who for 1 year immediately preceding the making up of the Register of Voters, appear in the Commercial Register of the territory of the Chamber as <strong>owner, partner, manager, (deputy) managing director, supervisory director, general attorney or proxy holder<\/strong> (with no limitations).<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Excluded from the voting are:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Prisoners<\/li><li>Persons place(d) in a ward because of insanity.<\/li><li>Persons adjudged bankrupt,
